Mounties looking for child’s tricycle stolen from North Kamloops home

Kamloops RCMP are asking for help in finding a child's special tricycle that was stolen from a home on the North Shore.

Mounties say the folding blue tricycle with three regular sized bicycle tires was stolen from a house on the 1100-block of Laroque Street overnight on May 27. Police were alerted to the theft the following day, May 28.

"The tricycle holds great emotional value to its owner, who is a young child, still learning how to ride," RCMP Corporal Crystal Evelyn said. "We are asking anyone who has information related to the bike's whereabouts to please contact police."

Evelyn says people who see the bike or know where it is should contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-18747.
